"But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” Mark 13:32
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Matthew 24:36
How is it that “the Father alone” knows the day and the hour of Christ's second coming? If the Holy Spirit is a coequally distinct omniscient (all-knowing) divine person in heaven with the Father, then Jesus should have said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father and the Holy Spirit alone”.
Most Trinitarian theologians believe that an alleged God the Son never lost His omnipresence (being everywhere present) and omniscience (All-Knowingness) while existing on the earth as a man. How then could a so called Heavenly God the Son who allegedly retained His divine attributes in heaven such as his omnipresence and omniscience, have not known the day and the hour of his own second coming as a Divine Person in heaven? Since Jesus clearly said “NO ONE KNOWS … NOT EVEN THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, NOR THE SON, BUT THE FATHER ALONE,” the Holy Spirit of God and the Son of God could not be two coequal God Persons beside the only true God the Father. For how can a true God Person be a true God Person without being All-Knowing? Therefore, it is obvious that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father who alone knows the day and the hour of Christ’s second coming.
Mark 13:32 proves that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father who became incarnate as the Son in Matthew 1:20 and in Luke 1:35. Notice that Jesus said, “not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone”. Since Jesus was also speaking about individuals in heaven when he said, “no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone,” there is no sensible answer to support the Trinitarian idea that the Holy Spirit is another all-knowing God Person of a Trinity.
Some have appealed to Revelation 19:12 which says, “He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself”. Yet Revelation 19:12 says nothing about angels or the Father in heaven knowing like Mark 13:32 and Matthew 24:36 does. Jesus clearly said, “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone”. Notice that Jesus includes our Heavenly Father along with His holy angels in heaven. Thus it is obvious that Revelation 19:12 affirms that no finite man knows the Name written but the man Christ Jesus himself.
Wherefore, there are three undisputable facts from Mark 13:32.
Our Heavenly Father is the only true God who alone knows all things.
The Holy Spirit could not be a third coequal God Person.
The Son is “God with us” as a fully complete man who did not know all things. Therefore Jesus the Messiah could not be an All-Knowing God the Son Person of a three person deity.
